Management Trainee Program
Wilson provides many exciting opportunities for individuals interested in a career in supply chains solutions. Most of our trainees have moved on to fill Operations Manager and Branch Manager positions within Wilson and are developing into our future business leaders.
Our program consists of a year-long "hands-on" training schedule at the field branch operational level. Some travel is required during this initial assignment. In addition to the field, trainees will work in our Houston Corporate Office which includes working within defined corporate departments to ensure a full cycle of understanding of the branch interaction and accountability to corporate operational departments. This final component of the training will also include training in HR, Legal, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley and Audit Operations.
Upon completion of the Management Trainee Program, the trainees, along with other staff members who exhibit exceptional work performance, are then promoted from within to fill new management openings as they become available.
