IMPACT Award
Objective
The objective of the IMPACT award is to motivate employees and reinforce extraordinary quality focused behavior.
Eligibility
All employees are eligible to receive an IMPACT award.
Frequency
IMPACT awards are to be given on occurrence of meeting award criteria.
Criteria
To receive an IMPACT award an employee must accomplish the following:
- Contribute above and beyond their normal job duties
- Exceed expectations of their internal or external customer
- Achieve superior internal or external customer satisfaction
- Successfully work in a team or in support of others
- Learn from their mistakes
Nominations
Anyone can nominate an employee by filling out an Employee Recognition Form and turning it in to Branch Manager or by emailing quality@iwilson.com. All IMPACT nominations should express appreciation for the employee’s efforts and communicate answers to the following questions:
- What did the employee do above and beyond their normal duties?
- How did the employee exceed internal or external customer expectations and achieve superior customer satisfaction?
- Who did the individual successfully work with in this accomplishment?
- What impact did the employee’s actions have on their internal or external customer?
Reward and Recognition Process
- Branch Manager collects Employee Recognition Forms (nominations) once monthly.
- Branch Manager reviews nominations and chooses one or more employee to receive monthly award. It is the responsibility of all management to maintain the standard for an IMPACT award and strike the delicate balance between dilution from too many awards and ineffectiveness from too few.
- Branch Manager submits nominations of IMPACT award winners to Regional Manager the first week of each month for the previous month’s awards.
- Regional Manager chooses one employee from nominations and submits the nomination to Quality.
- Quality prepares IMPACT certificate.
- Branch Manager and/or Quality present IMPACT certificate and T-shirt or other award to employee. Photo of employee receiving award is taken and submitted to Quality.
